Doug Parker is a consultant on health and safety policy and a Senior Research Fellow at Harvard Law School's Center for Labor and a Just Economy. He served as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health from 2021-2025. He previously served as Chief of Cal/OSHA, in senior positions at the Mine Safety and Health Administration, and as Executive Director of Worksafe, an Oakland, California-based legal services organization supporting safer workplaces for low-wage and immigrant workers.
