Justin McElhattan is the founder of Nicely Road, a permanent capital company focused on unleashing the power of local farms and regenerative farming practices to nourish, heal, and connect.
Prior to Nicely Road, Justin spent 30 years in the health and safety industry. He spent 25 years at Industrial Scientific Corporation in various roles, becoming CEO in 2010. He led the sale of the business to Fortive Corporation (NYSE: FTV) in 2017, and subsequently led the environmental, health, and safety business group for Fortive. While at Fortive, he led a number of acquisitions and strategic investments, including Intelex, a leading EHS SaaS platform, SAFER Technologies, ehsAI, and Datamaran.
Justin has a B.S. of Environmental Resource Management from Penn State and is a 2006 MBA graduate of Tepper. He and his family live in Pittsburgh.
