Dr. Majed Zreiqat is a Professor in the Safety Sciences and Environmental Engineering Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He holds a Ph.D. in Occupational Safety and Health with a minor in Applied Statistics from West Virginia University, an M.S. in Safety Sciences from IUP, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan. With more than two decades of combined academic, research, and industry experience, Dr. Zreiqat specializes in ergonomics and human factors, safety engineering, hazardous materials safety, and data analytics. His work integrates rigorous scientific methods with practical approaches to improving processes and systems safety across diverse environments. Dr. Zreiqat is the coauthor of the 4th edition of Applied Statistics in Occupational Safety and contributed the book chapter “Active Learning Strategies in System Safety” in Active Learning Strategies for the Safety and Health Educator and Trainer, reflecting his commitment to advancing safety education and research.
